There are many ways to bond with your friends, whether you’re planning a wild night out or a trip abroad. Many icebreaker games for stag parties will get your best friend into the party mood.
We have many suggestions for drinking games, which are essential to many stag parties. It’s critical to recognize that only some groom-in-waiting or stag guests will be a drinker, so we’ve included pint-and-shot-centric options as wellStag Do games are great for getting the party started. Some can last for hours, while others are just quick icebreakers. We’ll find the perfect stag party game for you, no matter how little time you have. Are you ready to become a legendary stag do planner?
Mr. and Mrs
You’ll need a list of questions for Mr. & Mrs. and a willing partner-to-be.
How to play: This classic is not only for girls. You can ask the groom’s partner a series of questions in advance and save their answers.
The groom will be tested on the stage with the same questions and penalties for every wrong answer. The groom is tested with the same questions and receives a sentence for each wrong answer.
Beer Pong
You’ll need Twenty cups, a table long enough to accommodate two ping-pong balls and beer (or another drink of your choosing).
How it works: Split the group into two teams. The cups are arranged in a triangle at each end of the table and filled with beer about halfway.
Then, each team takes turns throwing a ping-pong ball into cups on the other end of the table. Every time the team gets one in, they must remove the cup from the table and drink all the beer inside (usually an honor bestowed to the groom). The team with the most cups at the end of play wins.
Wizard’s Staff
How To Play: The wisdom of a wizard comes from beer; you guessed right! It would help if you started drinking. When a party member finishes their drink, they keep the can to add to their staff. For example, four cans would make you a “level four wizard.”
You can make the game more interesting by adding rules such as being unable to set the staff down or facing a boss (think Jack Daniels or Johnnie Walker). You can’t just throw away your team before having a duel.
Toy Soldiers
How it works: Each Stag receives a toy army at the start of the party. When the best man takes charge, everyone has to freeze into the shape of their soldier whenever he says, “Assume your position!”
You can be as cruel or gentle as you like, but you might be the victim of this forfeit.
Statues
You’ll need A lot of space but no equipment.
How To Play: Similar to toy soldiers but a little more subtle. As the stag proceeds, the best man stops randomly and holds his place, then waits until the other members of the group notice.
The last person to join in and notice the game is the winner. You can either make them complete the dare by the next round or have them do it.
Send to All
You’ll need: Your phone and a willingness to let it go for the duration
How it works: This is a simple but effective game. The rule is no one is allowed to use their phone at a stag party when everyone is present. If they do so, the penalty is steep.
Anyone caught with their phone will be required to allow the groom to send a message to anyone listed in their contact list (yes, even themselves). If it’s the groom, what happens? Instead, the best man takes on that responsibility. It might be best to alert the bride ahead of time.
Heavyweight Champion of The World
What you will need is The wrestling championship belt. You can find reasonably priced replicas of this belt on Amazon.
How To Play: The groom is the man of that hour, so it’s fair to start with the belt. A champion is only as good as their last victory, so any group member can try to earn the belt.
The challenge could range from running the fastest down the street to drinking several shots in a single go. It doesn’t matter how ridiculous the task is. The ultimate champion is the person who has the belt left at the end.
Boat Race
You’ll need: beer (notice a pattern here?
How it works: Divide the group into teams and give each person a pint. This is a relay with alcohol. So stand in line according to the order that you intend to drink. The first person to drink must start the race. After that, no one else can begin drinking until the glass of the previous participant is empty.
The race continues until all members of the team have finished their drinks. The group that has consumed theirs most quickly wins the boat race. We don’t recommend going last if you are a slow drinker unless you can perform under extreme pressure.
Flip Cup
You’ll need Plastic Cups and a Long Table.
How To Play: Split into two teams and place cups on each side of the dining table. Fill half of them with your favorite drink. It’s a relay game with two players facing each other at once.
You can find the diagrams here for your convenience. Flipping a plastic cup isn’t tricky. We’ll discuss it after you have played the game.
Drunk Jenga
What you will need is: Jenga, a marker pen, and a game of Jenga
How To Play: The classic childhood game is back, but it’s not how you remember it. Write a series of challenges on the Jenga bricks before the Stag. (Get the other guys to help you if you’re stuck for ideas, but wait to tell the groom).
Every time you play the stage, you have to perform the task written on the block. It doesn’t matter where you are or how hard it is. You have to drink your beverage if you knock down the tower. This could be a blessing, depending on your brutality with the forfeits.
Scavenger Hunt
The following items are required
How it works: Create a list of items that must be collected during the Stag. It could be something physical, such as someone else’s underwear. Or it could be something more experiential, like taking a selfie with someone who shares the same name as the bride or groom. You can assign the task to the bachelor or two teams.
You can reward the groom if he makes it through the competition. Or, if you’re pitting one group against another, give the losers a nice prize.
