Krakow is the cultural capital of Poland. It is a popular tourist destination because of its stunning architecture and historical landmarks, such as the Royal Castle on Wawel Hill. There are also lively Polish bars, world cuisines, and a wide range of Polish vodka flavors.
The city is small and can be explored on foot. You can hire a party coach to start the party early. It takes about 25 minutes to get from the airport to the city center. You’ll find warmer weather from May to September. Winter is not worth it for the Christmas markets.
You can check out our Krakow stag options or speak to our stag expert, who will organize everything for you, from airport transfers to bar crawls to VIP nightclubs and any other experience you might want to have.

Summer
Krakow has hot summers from June to August, with lots of sunshine and the occasional thunderstorm. The streets of Old Town and Kazimierz come alive during this time, and many outdoor stages in the city host live music and shows. Wianki is the biggest street party, with locals wearing flower wreaths while they hop from club to club. The beer gardens are a great place to enjoy the Pierogi Festival, especially when steamed and fried.

Old Town
In the shadow of St Mary’s Basilica, Old Town is the heart of Krakow. Rynek Glowny, the largest medieval square in Europe, is filled with vibrant market stalls. Here you will find the most popular restaurants, clubs, and bars.
Kazimierz
Krakow’s Jewish Quarter is full of vibrant culture. You’ll find a variety of quirky bars, vintage shops, and indie galleries ranging from cocktail dens to shabby chic spaces. You’ll also find alternative nightspots of the city, such as Opium Music Club or Alchemia.
Party on the Beach
Take the stag group to Kryspinow on a hot summer day. The artificial beach, located around a large lake and only 30 minutes from the city center, has a bar. The beach has a bar, a swimming area, a waterslide, volleyball and basketball courts, and sand volleyball. There are pizzerias, grill bars, and a log-cabin restaurant called Skansken Smakow that serves local specialties.
Auschwitz tour
You can still see the remains of gas chambers and prison blocks in the museum of this largest concentration camp. The guided tour takes you through the horrors of this place. While it’s worth it, it can be an emotional experience that could dampen the mood of a party.
Stag Nightlife in Krakow
Krakow’s people are tough. The nightlife in Krakow is designed to make you drink vodka-like water and down beers as if there was a nationwide shortage.
Krakow’s alcohol prices are low, and drink deals are abundant.
Krakow’s Old Town has more bars per square meter than any other place on Earth. This makes it the perfect location for a Stag Bar Crawl. As you rub shoulders and enjoy the company of locals, you’ll discover everything from traditional taverns to strip clubs. You can’t sample all the illicit delights in one night, but you will get close with an organized pub crawl.
Krakow’s Lost Bars are a great alternative to the global trend of speakeasies. You’ll discover hidden 1920s cabarets in the dimly-lit basements around Kazimierz. These venues serve killer cocktails, burlesque risque shows, and other delicious treats. In this area, you will also find the loudest and biggest clubs in Krakow. VIP areas are cordoned off, and dress codes are strictly shirt and shoe. The casual ‘vodka-and-snack’ bars are great for adding a local touch to your night out. And vodka tasting tours allow you to enjoy the drinks in the name culture.
The nightlife in Poland begins at 10 pm, and clubs fill up at midnight. (Most bars are open until the early morning hours). Grab some pub food for dinner to extend your drinking hours.
If you want to be cool, walk down the gridlines in Nowa Huta. It is a former district of communists with speakeasies built into the housing blocks.
In Poland, Vodka rules the roost. Locals say that vodka is best drunk straight, without beer or wine. It also doesn’t leave you with a hangover. In a vodka bar, the glasses will usually be accompanied by plates with meats (think smoked ham and blood sausage) or pickles. Drink to your health!
CoCo Music Club
The club is across the street from Slowacki Theatre and has three bars, two dance floors, a VIP area, and a smoking lounge. The club combines a modern interior with brick walls that feel like an old tenement. White cushioned couches and framed mirrors give the room a luxurious touch. Music is a mixture of R&B and hip-hop, house, funk, and much more. Regular club nights are popular among stag parties.
