It’s always fun to host a kid’s disco. Creating music playlists can take a lot of time.
We’ve put together more than 2 hours of dance music for kids to get you started. The playlist is available on Spotify directly by clicking the link below.
Some music selection tips
It is best not to play clips straight from YouTube. A video playing in the background of a party can ruin the atmosphere. Also, you never know what kind of clip will be appropriate. You can avoid both these problems by streaming the music through a platform that only offers music.
Don’t hesitate to accept music requests from children for the party. Try to get the requests from children before the music begins. If you don’t, the kids will wait instead of dancing.
Randomize the order in which the children request songs so they don’t have to wait for “their song.” It also prevents the issue of not being able to play everyone’s favorite song.
Start the party with songs with a chorus you can easily understand and sing along to. The best way to get everyone involved is with songs that have choreography. Even kids who are not fond of dancing will join in on songs with choreography. Spread out the choreographed songs throughout the party.
Best dance music for children
We’ve created a Spotify playlist of over 2 hours’ worth of music to kick-start your child’s disco.
Spotify will play ads between songs when you have a free account. Get a premium account for the night if you don’t already have one. You will pay 9 euros monthly, but the cost is worth it. Don’t forget to unsubscribe if you don’t want to use it.
